QualiTri QualiPlus Label

2011 Presentation and awards

To improve the overall quality of public services for the collection of household waste, the ADEME and Eco-packaging have set up in 2007 a process of labeling with the following objectives:
• promoting the optimization
• strengthening local leadership in areas
• capitalizing on experience and the collection of good practices

The certification has two levels of increasing quality label:
• Level 1 , quality Label collection QualiTri
• Level 2 , quality Label collection QualiPlus
These labels are part of a voluntary approach to improving the overall quality collection services in communities of over 10,000 people with the competence collection.

No fewer than 68 communities have received these labels in 2011 (for 49 and 19 for QualiTri QualiPlus, 15 of which have received both), bringing to 217 the total number of labeled communities since 2007.

The two organizers have welcomed the significant increase in the quality of the entries, the success rate with around 80% this year.

The criteria are grouped in four areas representative of the quality objectives of the collection:

1. Service: user satisfaction,
2. Economy: cost control,
3. Environment: improve performance and reduce environmental impacts,
4. Social: improve the health and safety staff.
